Lancaster's Pecan Grove, a
Lampasas Texas bed and breakfast guesthouse on a 600-acre central Texas
cattle ranch, located on
Lucy Creek, 6 miles NE 0f Lampasas on County Road 3420, offers the
perfect setting for a quiet "get-away" for two. The ranch features one
limestone
cottage with fireplace, air conditioning, television, V.C.R. and a fully
furnished kitchen.
A relaxing stay at
Lancaster's Pecan Grove Guesthouse allows you time to enjoy fishing in the creek
above the dam or wading
down below the dam. Since this is not a public stream, you will have
complete privacy. Nature trails are provided
for observing this beautiful part of Lampasas, Texas with many Wildflowers
growing along the trail during the Spring. You will see fish in the
crystal-clear water holes in the small stream beside the hiking trail.
Birders will enjoy a wide variety of birds, from Hummingbirds to Great
Horned Owls.
In late evening you will hear Turkeys gobbling, Frogs
croaking, Whippoorwills calling and see Deer drinking from the creek.
If you are the outdoor type who loves nature and complete
privacy with plenty of elbow room, then you will
want to come back to Lancaster's Pecan Grove Guesthouse time after time.
